I guess I could talk to myself. . .since people are reading this but not posting. . .but talking to myself isn't that fun. I mean can I really get into a fight with myself? I am sure I could, but it wouldn't be that interesting. . .

talking to yourself is under-rated. you should do it often - and with emotion. I do!! fighting with yourself, agreed, is not as interesting.

i'm hoping this lull is just part of the ebb and flow of things .......

on the other hand, you could completely shock us with some crazy posts to generate some activity.

I am not sure where I have gone... I am tired a lot... I get distracted with the eventual direction that I do not want to go to.
I will have something here... at some point...

Technically, it is not my forum that is slow, it is the database it runs through... if I get it moved over and no longer have this problem does that mean you will be more active then?

And for the record...I was not blaming you.
And we've discussed in person that it would probably mean I would frequent the board more often than now, but probably still wouldn't make it worth your while.

Glad things are well. Dave's grandpa died 4 weeks ago, so we ventured out to Oregon for the family time. The memorial service was very nice and spending time with Dave's dad and that side of the family was very nice. Spending time with Dave's mom and her side of the family was nothing short of very painful.
My dad had knee replacement surgery Friday which I was a little anxious about because when he had the same surgery (different knee) 4 years ago he almost died from a heart attack. But so far he's doing great. His knee cap in his other leg is broken, so the dr is making him lose weight. YAY!!!!! Not that I want my dad's knee cap to be broken, but I very badly want him to lose weight as he's VERY heavy. The dr said that he might not have to operate on the knee if he loses the weight because the surgery would be VERY painful due to the fact that he's already had the knee replacement.
So that's that.
Things are good.
