WHOOHOO!! CUB'S WIN!! Yeah, and unlike my fine little feathered friend, this was the real thing. Wood chalks up a win as the opening day (for the Cub's) rolled out againsts the Red's in their own home field. As usual, Wood helps his own cause by bringing in a run.

Ah, so the next game is Wed... and who to pitch for the Cub's by my baseball rivial (and traitor) Greg Maddox. I know many, if not all, Cub fans seem to welcome this punk back with open arms. I, however, remember the reason he left. "I want to be on a winning team", so, he goes to the Braves, who even with his help cannot WIN a series. hAHAHA!! Of course, in 2003 he did not even make it to the playoff's BECAUSE HE WAS DESTORYED IN THE VERY FIELD HE ABANDONED.

Toad, some of us don't forget these things.
