well now that I am a little more sober
the iPhone has two things that go beyond bothering me... remote kill and no ability to tether. there was something else, however I totally do not remember (oh yeah, the whole locked to AT&T is uncool, I had my time with AT&T before, but that is not what I was thinking) I heard they at least have worked on the reliability of their 3G network with the phone, which the first generation ones were horrible at.
however, my phone is the Samsung Omnia II. since the first day I bought it, there has been lock up, crash, and restarts. that is what my last phone started to do (be almost unusable), and this morning/last night, it was to the point it was "not charging", to the point I had to pull the battery (again) and lost some more information, yet again (third time I lost info).
needless to say, I want to pick it up and toss it as high and far as possible. this is how a "smartphone" should act about after a year of use, and a bunch of installing and uninstalling of apps. this is ALSO a similar behavior that my computers are all doing, so add with a few other things on my mind last night, you see why I vented the way I did
