Plato, Alegory of the cave

Ah! it is opened! I may finally post!

Last year, we read the apology and the one following, I forgot the name of it. . .and we learned of the alegory of the cave. It is very a interesting subject. . .is there anyone else out there that knows about it and would care to discuss it?

I am not sure if it was actually in those two books, but I learned about it at the same time. . .

but it is basically

we are in a cave, and all we see are shadows of the real things there are. And when person A realizes that it is just a cave, and tries to tell everyone else about it, but no one believes them, because they dont want to.

then there was something else, and I am not sure if this is the same thing, but all the things we have today, were already invented, and we just get them when we are ready for them.

I am going to do a little more research on it. . .I was sorta hoping to find a new human to discuss it with.

I am not sure if it is the same thing. . .I wish I could explain it better, but it has been a year since I took that class and learned of it. . .I need to find some humans that already know about it to discuss it with. . .patience
