Update 060926 - Heartbeat take II!

Jen and I went in for our appointment, and I was able to record little X's heartbeat running at 146 BPM! Everything seems fine and our next scheduled visit will be for an ultrasound in two weeks.

(unfortunately, Sony is specific in their format, and the software required to convert the recording to a usable format is hiding somewhere at home. i shall have to find it, install it, and then convert, in which case, I shall reply to this topic when it happens)

I am not sure I understand what you mean about having to install stuff. . .is it your recorder that needs to be installed on your computer?

the Sony sound files are in a format not supported by windows, and the software I have to install (and did not find in the 20 seconds I looked) is what converts this to WAV format so people can use them. I plan on looking further on Thursday morning after I wake up

what format is it? send it to me and I might be able to get it done.

It is Sony, trust me, you have to use their software. They have a plugin for media player, however I want to edit the files, so require this software to do it. They use MSV files for their file compression.
